The Tunisian National Railways Company
It is a non-administrative public establishment responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of the tunisian railways network.
It is also in charge of developing this network through the extension of existing lines or the creation of new ones. This establishment, which has legal personality and financial autonomy, operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport.
All of these activities are managed by 5 business units responsible for transport, namely
Business Unit for passengers transport on Main Lines
Business Unit for passengers transport on the suburbs of Tunis
Business Unit for passengers transport on the Sahel Suburbs
Phosphate Transport Business Unit
Freight Transport Business Unit
These 5 business units are supported by other services provider units, namely
